Regardless of industry, when an unforeseen event takes place and brings day-to-day operations to a halt, an organisation needs to recover as quickly as possible and continue to provide services to its clients.
From data security breaches to natural disasters, there must be a plan in place in case of a catastrophe but also from Jane's - "I've accidentally deleted that spreadsheet!" problem.
Not having a disaster recovery plan in place can put the organisation at risk of high financial costs, reputation loss and even greater risks for its clients and customers.
Otherwise, the productivity calculations for staff wages, business overheads etc. when the IT network is down can be scary. Minimal downtime and data-loss is needed.
This subject is in our blood and we're extremely proud of our work to date in this area.
Again, start with the basics.
